Food for Thought 2

- An insight to the workings of the capitalist system – apparently, Canadian Hog farmers are not achieving the regular rate of profit due to high oil, feed, and fertilizer products. What to do? The answer is to have a country-wide cull of sows to decrease supply and increase prices and profits. The slaughtered meat can’t go to market and further depress the prices so it will go to pet feed and to providing 20 000 meals for the food banks, or one meal per approximately 35 food bank users in Ontario!
