Foul Play

Capitalism is a corrupt, criminal society so the following should come as no surprise. 'Christopher Forsythe, a registered Fifa agent, and Obed Nketiah, a senior figure in the Ghanaian Football Association, have been questioned by police after they told an undercover investigator and reporter working for the Telegraph and Channel 4's Dispatches programme that they could employ corrupt officials who would rig games played by the Ghana football team.' (Daily Telegraph, 3 July) The arrests are the latest development in match fixers targeting teams playing   at the World Cup.  It emerged that members of the Cameroon team could be interviewed as the country's football federation (Fecafoot) examines allegations of match fixing in Brazil.
