Food for Thought 3
- The recent G8 summit on climate change in Japan did the expected – practically nothing. The New York Times editorial stated, “…summits are usually about vague promises and good intentions, and this one was no different”, and, “Until the United States is willing to make anunambiguous commitment to reducing America’s emissions, with clear targets and timetables, the rest of the world will keep finding excuses not to do the same.” Same old!
