Newspaper reports of the proposed visit of the President of China Xi Jinping to the USA portray it as a friendly journey, but in fact beneath the surface it is anything but friendly. 'International relations experts expect the international community to watch how the two powers work through thorny issues in the Asia-Pacific region and reduce, if not eliminate mutual distrust.
